April Open Mic – 04/30/2023

Poets and poetry fans will gather on Sunday April 30 from 2:30 to 4:30 at the Waterworks located at 184 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, across from the Main Branch of the St. Johns County Library. Poets of all skill levels are given an opportunity to share their poems with a loving and supportive audience.

April is National Poetry Month and the Romanza Festival is celebrating with this star-studded tip of the hat to local musicians, featuring guitarist Sam Pacetti and the poets that he inspires. Passionate playing by Sam Pacetti, with be salt and peppered with poetry from Chris Bodor, Robert Waldner, and Kevin PM. The hour long performance will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by a community open mic from 4 pm to 4:30 pm, from audience members who are inspired to speak, by the muses.

St. Augustine PoetFest Chair Chris Bodor with facilitate this Ancient City Poets gathering. Sign up sheet with room for five names will be available at 2:30 pm. Poets of all skill levels are given an opportunity to share their poems with a loving and supportive audience.
