Bring your favorite holiday sweet treats and your poems about the holidays, as well as hopes and dreams for the new year that is almost here.
Ancient City Poets invite you to experience the local literary scene on Sunday December 28, on a special day and time at the Maria Reyes Jones Gallery, located at 134 Riberia Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
Experience the art of Maria Reyes Jones and thank her for opening her gallery doors to the local poetry community.
The gathering will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Maria Reyes-Jones Studio at 134 Riberia Street in historic Downtown St. Augustine. The sign-up sheet will be available at 6:00 PM on the event day. At 6:30 PM, the facilitator will call to the podium the first 10 names on the list. Each presentation should be limited to five minutes maximum, to allow everyone time to share.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
The theme is meant as a writing prompt and it is your choice if you want to follow the theme or not. Give two or three of your polished poems or share fresh ink from your notebook. Invite a friend or two or three to cheer you on.
Readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the list. Please limit your time at the podium to five minutes.
